7th October 2012 at Old Rose & Crown, London E17.

Walthamstow Folk Club, www.walthamstowfolk.co.uk/.

Country: Britain. Style: Traditional English Folk / Nu-Folk.

Lineup: Lisa Knapp (v/fiddle/shruti box/banjo/harp), Gerry Diver (fiddle/g) and guest: Dick Smith (autoharp/g).

Lisa Knapp grew up in London and released her first album in 2007. In recent years she has collaborated with electronics artists. This gig despite the presence of a laptop on the stage (for some brief ambient sounds), was pretty traditional. As always she was joined by Gerry Diver (whose instrumental sets demonstrated his background in Irish traditional music) and, for the last few songs, Dick Smith (who played the autoharp with a mallet).
