This concert had four distinct elements. The letters above indicate who took part in which of them: P = Persian Music, GT = Greek & Turkish, KT = Kurdish from Turkey, KI = Kurdish from Iran.

Peyman Heydarian is from Shiraz in south western Iran and came to the UK in 2004. As well as leading the SOAS Iranian Band, he is part of the SOAS Rebetiko Band. His concerts often feature Kurdish music.
