Lineup: Ciarán Ó Maonaigh (fiddle), Aidan O'Donnell (fiddle), Damien McGeehan (fiddle), Solo Cissokho (v/kora).

The three members of Fidil all come from Donegal. They where originally solo fiddle players until Ciarán Ó Maonaigh (who is the nephew of Mairéad Ni Mhaonaigh) and Aidan O'Donnell formed a duo. Then at the end of 2008, Damien McGeehan was added. Solo Cissokho is from Casamance district in the south of Senegal, and has lived in Norway since 1995. This was the most recent is a series of cross-cultural collaborations by Cissokho. He has previously performed with Dr L. Subramanian (India), Ellika Frisell (Sweden) and Altan’s Demot Byrne and Mairéad Ni Mhaonaigh.
