Nuala Kennedy is from Dundalk in Co. Louth. She moved to Scotland at 18 in the mid 1990s to study. She was part of the bands Fine Friday and Harem Scarem (the Scottish band not the Canadian pop group). Her Dewar award in 2007 was to record her first album “The New Shoes”.
