Lineup: Kadialy Kouyate (v/kora), Ike Leo (tenor sax/soprano sax), Ole Andre Farstad (g), Mamadou Sarr (conga/djembe/shakers), Khalifa Konte (calabash/tama), Abdoulaye Samb (bass g) and guests: Sona Jobarteh (v/kora), plus various other kora players and percussionists

Kadialy Kouyate is from Kolda in the Casamance region of southern Senegal and now lives in London.A few weeks previously I had seen him at a solo concert at the National Portrait Gallery. Last year I saw him with an acoustic version of Sound Archive. See: www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/sets/72157625345430523/. This was a new lineup for his electric band.
