Luke Daniels first emerged as a winner of the BBC Young Tradition Award in 1992. He has mainly played Irish music (for a period in Riverdance, and most recently in Art of Trio and on his own album “The Mighty Box”). John Dipper has played English music in the English Acoustic Collective, Patterson Jordan Dipper, and Martyn Wyndham-Read’s No Man's Band. This project arose out of Luke Daniel’s educational work with Gael Music. “Sun Stations combines live music, recorded sound, images and spoken word to explore the customs and festivities of the year.
