Í faðmi vindanna eftir Mireyu Samper og Víðir Árnason
Það verk sem markaði upphafið að listahátíðinni Ferskir vindar, var verk Mireyu Samper og Víðis Árnasonar „Í faðmi vindanna“ sem Dorrit Moussiaeff afhjúpaði á Garðskaga á sólseturshátíðinni í júní 2010. Dorrit er verndari verkefnisins. Mireya Samper lofaði Ásmundi Friðrikssyni, sem þá var bæjarstjóri að gera listaverk sem ekki myndi fjúka, en verkið er 36 tonn að þyngd.
