A stitched panorama of the view across Strathearn that stopped me in my tracks as I drove up from Glasgow one foggy January morning. It's hard to decide whether to use the full area of the panorama, or to crop in to focus on the cascades of rays over Invermay, so I'll maybe post a few different variations of this scene come time.

On the last few minutes of my glide over the end of Loch Voil on a stunning day flying in the Trossachs.

Once I'd had enough of the cold and committed to heading back down to ground I pushed as far over the loch, away from my chosen landing field, as I dared, so that I could turn back and enjoy this view as i came down to land.

At the end of Loch Voil, the village is the site of Rob Roy's grave.

Taken during a brilliant paraglider flight on Sunday afternoon - the first time I've really been high enough in Scotland to justify taking the camera with me.

Looking west along the Soca valley to distant Italy during one of my first flights in Slovenia. The purpose of the trip was to learn to fly further, generally by flying faster, so as to cover a greater distance in a given flight time. Here I'm chasing Olga as we race towards the first turnpoint in the task our mentors set for us that day.
