I reluctantly offer this as a reminder to all who love the Highlands just what damage industrial wind farms can inflict on an otherwise beautiful scene.
Scotland is tiny - & wild land is evaporating exponentially, due in large part to these groups of grotesque structures which seemingly multiply year on year.
It's not fashionable to condemn these things, & I seem to be in a minority, even amongst hill-goers, but if all the human race can up with in 2019 to combat fossil fuel related global warming are these technologically primitive rashes of metal & concrete, then we are all genuinely f***ed on Planet Earth.

Asher and I left the house around 4pm and we're near the New Mexico border by 8-9. Chased over there for awhile, but we knew the storms would end up moving to the west and possibly up Interstate 10 towards Phoenix. It was a wild night with a huge MCS forming around Casa Grande and blasting to the west/northwest.

So over 12 hours later, we found ourselves west of Phoenix, here in Buckeye, with the sun coming up and lightning everywhere. Asher actually was awake most of the chase and wouldn't fall asleep until 4am cause he's so stubborn haha.

A blast to experience an all-night chase with my littlest kid, and to come away with so many fun shots. This was looking north on Highway 85.
