This was an image from my recent trip to the Southwest to shoot the rare snowstorms to hit the desert. I knew people had seen a thousand images of this so I thought I would try something different - night painting !
This is always a challenge I look forward to and when it works out it really looks out of this world.
One unexpected surprise was the fact the image picked up the sunrise color starting before I could see it without the camera.
