The weather in Manchester as been nothing short of shocking lately with high winds and rain. Not that normally stops me, but the wind blowing the rain on the camera lens is just a pain.
It's my 60th in May, so looking at going somewhere on a nice photo shoot.
All my life I have wanted to visit Alcatraz and San Francisco, but it's a bit short notice to try to sort everything out. I have tried to get tickets to visit Alcatraz online but have little joy with that as they are not showing any tickets available after May 8th.
I have two friends who on two separate occasions went to San Francisco and could not get tickets to visit the Rock as they never booked tickets beforehand. That is not going to happen to me, so it looks like it's going maybe in Jan next year.
I think I'm going to settle for a visit to Cambridge this year, and hope to do San Francisco early next year.
