Lemurs (lemuroidea) are among the most social and clever primates and are endemic to the island of Madagascar.
The word "lemur" derives from the word “LEMURES” (ghosts or spirits) of the Roman mythology and was given to these cute creatures, due to their nocturnal habits and slow pace.
