Het Stryper kerkhof is de oudste begraafplaats op Terschelling, omstreeks het jaar 900 werden hier al mensen begraven.
Op deze plaats is in de loop der eeuwen maar liefst vijf keer een kerk gebouwd. Maar ook de laatste kerk is verdwenen.
Bij het kerkhof zijn nog wel de grondprofielen van de kerken gemarkeerd.

The cemetery of Stryp (or Seeryp) is the oldest cemetery on the island of Terschelling. Since around 900 AD people were burried here. At this spot there have been 5 churches, but also the last church disappeared. However, the ground plans of all these churches were made visible with small concrete bricks.
