"Bridestones" near Todmorden in West Yorkshire.

At over 1,400 feet above sea-level the Bridestones on the windswept moors to the east of Todmorden and the Calder Valley, there is a ½ mile long escarpment of Millstone Grit outcrops that stand like rocky sentinels keeping watch over the Pennine moorland.
