still getting used to my tamron 150-600 lens, Im finding it about as sharp as my 100-400L lens. This was with my 7D at 600mm at ISO 2500

so this was this morning on leaving town, cold and foggy but beautiful, took these from the car window, very little done to them, just cropped and levels, just an amazing scene I could not pass up taking a photo of really. The cows breath can even be seen . Love days like this

This fellow was not far from my caravan in Jerri today. I had the 5DIII and hubby's monster lens on it and to be honest I wish id had my 7D and the L lens as it does a way better job (which always is the case with me) but anyway this is a bird I think Ive managed to get a shot of once before and years ago. Had to look it up, its a Purple-gaped Honeyeater
