This image is "proof" that digital photography is making me lazy and stupid. Yesterday, I forced myself to take the 4x5" camera on a motorcycling trip. I made this one photo. First of all, I did not question the meter reading. It gave me 2 seconds at f32. I adjusted for the yellow filter and reciprocitiy and gave it 16 seconds. If you look at the negative you see a black sheet of plastic... I recalculated the exposure using the sunny 16 formula and got 1/8 at f32. How stupid can you get. I am, however equally amazed at what my scanner could rescue from a black negative.
Shen Hao PTB45, Schneider-Kreuznach Super Angulon 5.6/90, yellow filter, Fomapan 100 developed in Rodinal 1+25 using the SP-445 development tank, "rescued" by Epson Scan and Lightroom.

The memorial to Prince-Bishop Theodor von Fürstenberg, Theodor was Bishop in Paderborn in the from 1585 to 1618 and commissioned this monumental tomb/memorial for himself. It was created by Heinrich Gröninger - a leading sculptor of his time and finished in 1622.

As the crypt of Paderborn Cathedral was refurbished a new wooden statue of the Patron Saint was commissioned and executed by Stephan Balkenhol. Traditionally oriented Catholics have objected to the omission of the Bishop's insignia. I on the other hand like the idea that Saints are actually quite ordinary people.
