You can't tell in this pic, but it was snowing like crazy behind him. In fact, a nor'easter came in dropping more rain than snow in the end. I was sitting in the kitchen of this house and shooter though a large window, all dry and cozy.
By the time the storm ended, seven very large evergreen trees had fallen on the property. One I actually watched fall. Thank God both the dogs and myself were safely inside the house. Only one tree fell on the house but it landed on the garage. The trees were about 60 years old.
The birds adapted well to the change in the property. I, of course, notified the owner. She comes back from China today, to deal with the disaster.
