When we have a full moon I try to find something to go along with it. This is an old dock that hurricane Charlie partially destroyed. It has been used many times by local photographers for sunrises.
The only problem with my plan last night was the thunderstorms that roll in every afternoon. I wanted the moon just above the horizon.
As it always happens, a fantastic sunset was happening behind me and I could not get to another location in time to shoot it.

This is the first spin wider view (second spin) of what Mike Jone's final image.
We first had to dislodge a couple of undesirables from the park bench right behind where Mike was doing the spinning...less he lit up their lives. They latter said very cool. I'm sure they had never seen a light show like this before.
I thought this came out rather nice.We only did 2 spins and didn't want to risk explaining to the police what the hell we were doing.

Folks, this is my new yatchet that I just took possession of this week. I saw it morred where I was photographing the Jupiter LH and thought to myself, I should buy this baby and take some time away from Florida. She's a little over 75 feet and has more room than my house on land.
I will be crusing down to St Croix in the next few months and hopefully won't run into any hurricanes that far south.
New cameras and now this....life is indeed sweet.
