This is only a 2 image panoramic image, made from wading with my kayak at waterside during a receding tide. These are mostly the red mangrove tree with their elaborate maze of tangled pop-root systems, which are the life blood nursery grounds of many marine species of fish and invertebrates.
The denseness of these mangrove forests are what holds back some of the wind and waves on approaching storms and even hurricanes to some extent.

I love to hop in the truck and head further out in the country to look for old structures that are now no longer livable. These places have so much character.
I should make it a point to go back and explore this place so more…if it hasn't been torn down like so many others.
