Still experimenting with all of the various scanner settings to achieve the best possible scans of my 4x5 B&W negatives from my Epson Perfection 3200.
This image was made back in the middle 90's with my 15 ft. canoe, which after 10 years of service…including 2 years out in Colorado..was destroyed in the 2004 hurricane Charlie that hit us.
I have made many large B&W prints of this one. Note: if you click on the down arrow icon on the far right, you can view this image in much more detail at it's full uploaded size.
Many of my Nature & Wildlife images are now available in beautiful canvas wrap prints as well as canvas prints in a natural wood floater frame. Please email me for details. jmwnaturesimages@comcast.net I have now moved all of this information over here at Flickr. Look for the album titled "Fine Art Canvas Prints".

When I lived in CO. (Longmomt) I would go out in the early morning after and during a light dusting of snow and seek out images. Snow covered ground creates a much different image as opposed to that same image without the snow.

The original of this image was made in color. I converted to B&W and then applied a slight sepia tone.
