This image of Broken Arch was made very early, around 6:00 AM, after a 1.3 mile hike from the parking area. I used flash fill here to brighten the foreground details.

I should have paid more attention to my park maps as where I had my camper the trail to the backside of this arch was only about 1/2 mile.

This is the entrance to Sand Arch. The deep sand here is a lot like walking on the beach, except to surf sounds.
