Back in 2011 I made my Western Swing Photo Adventure to many of the places that I missed out on when I lived in CO. for a couple of years. Since this was a solo trip, camping out of the back of my pickup truck most of the time, my time and locations were my alone with only the weather dictating when, where and for how long I stayed in one place. BTW, you can read about how this trip came about and its sometimes wacky moments on my Blog…link below.

I made a ton of images in some of the most beautiful places on earth. Old Fall River Road was a special place as it is only open from late May through October. It is a winding one way dirt and gravel road that climbs the mountain to the Continental Divide of the Rocky Mountains.

I processed this last night after nearly 4 years and had very little trouble getting exactly what I wanted from this image. I might add the fact that seeing this image again for the first time??? I was able to recall the exact moment that morning in making this image.

Once again, my images are only licensed for reproduction and web use by directly contacting me. Please do not use them yourself or through any other organization without my expressed written permission.

Many of my Nature & Wildlife images are now available in beautiful canvas wrap prints as well as canvas prints in a natural wood floater frame. Please go to my web site below or email for details and pricing. jmwnaturesimages@comcast.net
