King Vulture - La Laguna del Lagarto Lodge, Boca Topada, Costa Rica
At this lodge they have built a hide / blind that is mostly below ground. So when you are in the blind and sitting your view is at ground level and behind reflective glass so that the birds and animals cannot detect that you are there. This blind was built exclusively for watching King Vultures. While I was there I was able to see the above adult and a juvenile.
