A tour boat on Crater Lake leaves a wide rippled wake on the still water; viewed from the vista point near Wizard Island.

If you wish to take the boat tour, you have to book long in advance, as it is regularly sold out. The boats are quite small. The hike from the rim to the boat dock is quite rigorous and steep, so we didn't even consider it.
