Why are architectural vanishing points so appealing? Everyone who visits the Stanford campus photographs the long colonnades around the quad.
I have photographed the corridors numerous times in different light, and this is one of my favorites to date due to the soft pinkish golden tones of twilight.
The image below is the same colonnade in the late winter sunlight. The shadows, light play and tones are completely different.
