Our riverboat was docked just steps away from the main street of this charming village in Normandy - Les Andelys on The Seine River. There was an ancient ruined chateaux at the top of the hill and a fine old church, as well as some nice architecture and gardens. Not much else to see, but it was a lovely morning, and we enjoyed sailing out after lunch, with a glass of champagne in hand, and seeing the tiny villages and chalk cliffs that line this part of The Seine.
The river is very high right now, which you can see from the tree coming out of the water !
