A farwell to the serial (Class) 1700 on the 11d of december.
On this date the so called 'winter' schedule go off the and schedule itself based on a 'winter' circumstances where delay could be taken place.
Also a end of the serial 1700 which replaced by the 193 Vectron on the line Amsterdam Berlin which therefore runs faster because the overhead line voltage can be switched while driving and therefore no locomotive change is required at the Dutch-German border station Bad Bentheim,
The 1700 is almost equal to the NS 1600.
Only a few technical difference distinguishes itself from the other loco.
