Once again, I'm going to share my favorite spot that has rolling hills, green fields....and lots of bluebonnets during early to mid April:

Take Interstate 45 south of Dallas approximately 25 miles to the Ferris exit (Exit 266). Head east and south on TX Hwy 660 approximately 5 miles until you come to Sugar Ridge Road on your right. There are grazing horses there and if you get lucky, you may catch them in the bluebonnets.

Turn right onto Sugar Ridge Road and drive this 2.6 miles of bluebonnet magic.
