A rare sight....a small armadillo that was rooting through my neighbor's garden during the day....(in Corinth, Texas)
These are nocturnal animals and are seldom seen alive during the daylight hours.....

Leaf Luck.... I wanted to capture the lines of the leaf and lo and behold....there was a green tree frog inside. Surprised me when I saw him through the lens....since these leaves reside just outside our front door in our home's garden in North Texas....

Grand Tetons, Wyoming, U.S.A. - Moulton Barn - July, 2003...the clouds parted just as I snapped the shot and I was pleasantly surprised to see the end result. Cloud movement is all luck....and I got lucky.
This is one of the most well known photos in my Flickr photostream and the one that I still consider to be one of my better shots....

This storm's clouds actually caused me a bit of concern.....it is from these type of swirling clouds that Texas tornadoes are spawned....
Luckily, the only things that got twisted were the clouds....but I was wondering what the people in the car approaching with their lights on were thinking....
Probably...."let's get the heck out of here..."
