I was shooting macro shots of Antenna Man in the shade....and the flash did not go off....and this image is the result.

Once again proving my belief that 95% of my best shots are lucky shots...

I think you will concur that he's definitely standing guard in this image....

I do believe this creature I've affectionately named "Antenna Man" was staring straight into the lens when the shutter was pushed....probably wondering what the heck that black thing was a foot away from his location...

I did take a lot of photos of this little guy and was VERY lucky he moved around on the canna plant instead of using those huge legs of his to jump away....

This guy in our garden continues to fascinate me as I track his whereabouts through the lens of a NikonD70.....his legs and his antenna are so far out of proportion with the rest of his body.....

This was taken when he climbed up to the tip of a canna plant....

Watching this little fellow through the lens in our garden this morning made me appreciate how little I really know about the small world around us....

I got the impression that he was peering over the edge and thinking "should I jump?" with this giant peering over him....
