UPDATE: Dec 2013: After this incident there were a handful of others; some on the subway and another in Philly. It just became too much for me the constant confrontations or the anxiety from the possibility of one. I just couldnt concentrate on my work. February 2009, Queens, NYC---Couple of bored cops stopping and harassing me near my home. Not my first time being needlessly detained for photographing in public spaces (standing on the sidewalk) and probably not my last. I scolded these two and called 'em out for being bullies... and on a Sunday morning too. I filed what official grievances I could but to no real solution. The guy who owned the wall with the color yellow ( who had flagged down the cops) was allowed to file a complaint against me. What a country we live in nowadays.
