Fluidr / Kona's Well... by jason

Photographing this well was one of the highlights of my vacation to Hawaii. My attempt here was inspired by the great (much better than mine) shots of it by James Brandon and Colby Brown that I'd seen earlier this year (Many thanks to James for tagging the location on Google Maps!).. Seeing the water rush in and out was such a treat, and I have to admit I probably should have just sat and watched the location for few minutes before getting quite so close so quickly. The water can rush up and over pretty quickly which did cause me to grab the tripod a few times. If you're ever in the Kona area on the Big Island, it's a must-do spot. Seeing and capturing the sunset here was a highlight for me. I hope everyone's having a great week...as I'm getting excited about heading to the NC Outer Banks this weekend to capture a few shots.
