It's that time of year again to find images for friends and family Christmas calendars. I found this in the archives and quite liked it, taken on the beautiful Fair Isle, Scotland. Apologies for not being around much recently, I haven't turned my Mac on for weeks and the app on my phone is very unpredictable, yet I have tried my best to keep up with everyone's lovely images. I had a lovely long weekend in the Peak District recently. I managed to get out for 3 shoots, one morning and two evenings. It was so hot in the day time we just stayed inside the lovely cool stone cottage I rented for the weekend which was close to my favourite spots I like to photograph. The heather was looking lovely and I was lucky that the sunsets were quite nice. It was very quiet for the time of year but saw a few people out watching the sunset like the couple top left. Such a beautiful place to be.

A quick ten minute dash over to Thornham salt marshes for sunset to photograph the old wooden stumps. I only had a few minutes to find a composition I was happy with. A lovely old couple and their collie dog kept me company chatting away, they were sat on the bench to the left of me watching the sun go down together. What a lovely place it is too.

A loving couple enjoying the sunset hand in hand in the Norfolk sea. The only seaside resort on the East coast that faces West, great for sunsets.
