This is the West Yard area at Camden Market - Lock. Our hotel faced this part of Camden Market. There are trips from the Camden Waterbus Company to Little Venice. This also seems to be the 'foodie' area, although it was quite quiet at this moment and most eateries were closing up.

The other morning I spotted quite a few pigeons on a neighbour's roof two doors away! I've never seen so many in one go. At one point 11 pigeons were lined up!

I don't know much about the history apart from this: Named after the adjacent Ice Wharf – which was built in 1837 for ice imported from Norway. (Another tribute for my friend Knut, lol)
