Taken as the sun was starting to set in Paris. I loved the golden illumination. As we walked along the opposite banks, we lingered to admire the changing conditions. Then, when Magic Hour hit, I was running all around to capture all the different angles.

Fun Facts:
-- Notre Dame is located on Ile de la Cite, the Paris island with great influence between the 4th and the 14th Century.
-- Notre Dame is 130 meters long, 48 meters wide, 35 meters high. Its pillars have a diameter of 5 meters. The rose windows have a diameter of 10 meters.
-- Notre Dame is Paris Catholic Cathedral since the Middle Ages. Maurice de Sully, the Paris Bishop, started its construction in 1163, but did not live to see it completed. Construction lasted until the 1240s. Architects and sculptors remain anonymous.
-- Notre Dame witnessed many historic events, including the coronation of Napoleon (1804) and the Magnificat for Paris liberation (August 26th 1944).
-- This romantic and historical building was the setting for Victor Hugo's The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
