Grizzly Bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) yearling female frolicking on driftwood logs along the shores of Glendale Cove with its mother feeds on the protein rich sedges.
She was viewed while on a guided boat tour (Tide Rip Grizzly Adventures out of Telegraph Cove), to see grizzly bears in Glendale Cove, a nature reserve on the pacific coast. Telegraph Cove is located on the northeast shore of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
