At this time of year I usually take the opportunity to review the wonderful wildlife I have seen and photographed over the last year but with many months of restrictions and not much luck in between, over a third of my posts this year have been old re-processed images.

This was a great start to the year at Farlington Marshes, with the Bearded Tits, including this gorgeous male. However, I spent most of the winter unproductively targeting the local Goshawks, a species previously missing from my Birds of Britain album. Many hours in the field were rewarded with a juvenile flyby but not the shot I hoped for.
