A bit of serendipity. Just near the end of the eclipse, this plane shot across the sun just as I was shooting at 20 frames per second at 1/2500 shutter speed. It was in and out of my shot within about a quarter of a second but I got 4 shots of it's crossing. Everyone else in the vicinity had already put their gear away, so I think I may have the only photo in the world of this shot. It was quite an awesome stroke of luck - and being at the right place at the right time, and continuing to shoot, and having my settings set right for such an unexpected quick action shot. Due to the brightness of the sun, we had no prior warning of its passing, nor was there any advance sound.
