A working waterway is within living memory for the older long time residents of Fobbing. Archive photos show the traditional sailing barges moored at the wharf near to St Michael's Church. In the 1950's the Fobbing Creek was dammed upstream as part of new flood defences and has gradually silted up. All that remains now on the landward side of the Oozedam is the reed bed snaking its way back towards the village a mile or so behind me.

Using a hex filter in post editing I blurred the image and then erased the hex on the quen.. and dice.
