I've spent the past few months working on an alternate viewer for Flickr photos and videos called Fluidr: www.fluidr.com/. See it in the Flickr App Garden here.

It allows you to view photos from users, groups, on Explore, by tag and so on sorted by Interestingness, in a random order or by most recent.

Photos and videos are loaded as you scroll, so the only time you need to go to a new page is when you want to view something else -- there are no "next" links.

With a press of a key (SPACEBAR) the current view changes into a slideshow and when you leave the slideshow your location is preserved.

You can add comments and favorites right from the main page without any additional page loads.

There are a lot of other features so I encourage you to try it out!
