Photos taken during a hike through a forested section towards Sentinel Pass in the Canadian Rockies.

In this one, I quite like the look of the pine needles of the tree.

One more day until we ring in the Year of the Dragon. The temples will be thick with incense above a sea of people seeking good blessings. The Year of the Rabbit was an interesting year for yours truly, and I hope that the coming year for all of you carries on with the awesome momentum that I ended mine with. Good health and prosperity to you all! Now give me a red packet! ;)

Nikon D300, Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8. Shot at a temple in Taipei.

We took a trip out to Jiao Fen during our last couple days in Taiwan, and while it was an absolute torrential downpour the whole day, it was still a beautiful sight to behold. The town clings to the side of the mist shrouded mountains. Both of these shots were taken from a lookout up on the bluffs.

Nikon FG, Nikkor AI-S 50mm f/1.2. Shot on Fuji Superia 400 (expired in 1993).

Shutter speed 5 seconds, camera pointed at Anita, then panned towards myself. How else do you do a double exposure in digital?
