At our walk in the fog yesterday we could see someone coming in our direction.. looked a bit scary (when you think of all those ugly movies) at first but it was just someone with his dog ;)
Love the mood the fog created...

Wie ihr ja wisst, hat mir Danbo immer gern und beim Fotografieren geholfen und auch D. hatte Spaß daran mit meiner Kamera zu spielen.
Und ich hatte (vor)gestern versprochen euch zu zeigen was in dem anderen Packet war...
Nunja darin war eine eigene Kamera für die Danbos!
Canon hat extra für die Danbos eine Mini-EOS entworfen. ;)
Es handelt sich dabei um eine 1D Mark IV mit einem 50 1.2 Objektiv. Und da Danbo so gerne Wildlife Aufnahmen macht, gab es von Canon noch ein 600 f4 dabei. ;)
Nun haben die beiden eine bessere Kamera als ich.. aber es sei ihnen gegönnt :)

Entschuldigt bitte das Bild, aber ich habe im Moment wenig Zeit um richtig gute neue Bilder zu machen... dazu ist das Wetter noch mies und ich muss dringend ein paar wichtige Daten wiederherstellen.

As you know, Danbo always enjoyed to help me taking photographs and D. had also fun playing with my camera.
And I had promised to show you what was in the other package ...
Well it was a camera for Danbos!
Canon has specially designed a mini-EOS for the Danbos. ;)
This is a 1D Mark IV with a 50 1.2 lens. And since Danbo loves wildlife shots, he got a 600mm f4 too!
Now the two have a better camera than me.. but i'm happy when they are happy :)

Sorry for the picture, but I have little time right now to make really good new pictures.. the weather is really bad too and i have to restore some important data..

Yesterday i celebrated a bit and "saved the best" for the late evening.
This Lagavulin 16yo Distillers Edition is one of my very favorite Whiskies and i recently bought this bottle. I'm saving it sort of for "special occasions" and yesterday was one and i couldn't wait to have a taste again!
It was totally worth the wait.. if you pour some of it in a glass you can already smell it and wow what a great smell, i really love it. The taste is aweseome too (for my taste, not all will like this Whisky) and even now, the empty glass on the table i can still smell it...

I got my 85mm lens out again, i need to use it more.. its also my first try doing a shot like that.. i liked the result..

Was für ein Tag...
Es klingelte heute Morgen und der Postbote brachte ein kleines Packet. Ich fragte mich was denn da drin sein könnte und öffnete es direkt...
Tja, was soll ich sagen.. ich habe nun die Verantwortung für 2 Danbos!
Ich half D. aus der Verpackung heraus und rief Danbo. Er kam direkt angerannt und als er D. sah leuchteten direkt seine Augen auf - die von D. ebenso!
Die beiden umarmten sich erstmal und sind nun überglücklich! Sie haben sich nun erstmal viel zu erzählen und D. muss sich von seiner Reise erhohlen.
Ich hoffe sie stellen hier nicht zuviel Unsinn an....

What a day..
This morning the doorbell rang and the postman brought a small package. I was wondering what could be in there and opened it.
Well, what can i say... now i have to keep an eye on 2 Danbos!
I helped D. out of the packaging and called Danbo. He was running towards us and as he saw D. his eyes instantly lit up - D.'s too!
The two hugged each other and are now very very happy! They have to tell each other very much and D. has to relax from his long journey.
I hope they don't do too much nonsense here...

Manchmal hat das "unperfekte" einen gewissen Reiz.. so auch hier. Eigentlich wollte ich den "Klassiker".. also ein perfektes Netz.. aber was ist schon perfekt?
Dieses hier fande ich viel interessanter, da es wie abgeschnitten wirkt..
