I heard there were screech-owls in this area, but when someone pointed out to me where the nest was and that it was a night-time viewing, I figured no way. Today, however, the two little owlets came into view (in heavy overcast, thankfully), not that you could see them with the naked eye in their dark nest hole. So there you have it. Screech-owl lifer, check.
