Twice The Fun - Today is National Aviation Day and World Photography Day. I’m very lucky to combine two things which I am very passionate about and have the honor to work with some incredible people in both industries. Though this year has not been what I’d hoped, since I am a keen student of history, I know life is a cycle and it’s not just on a personal level, but globally. I thought I was ready to tackle a lot of things this year, I wasn’t. While normally my life is a never ending chaotic pattern of ups and downs, I’ve not let the situation get the better of me. I guess I’m right at home in moments of turmoil and therefore have just taken a step back. This global pause has allowed me to reevaluate, refit & reorganize. When able, the plan is to spring forward like a Hornet coming off the cat in blower. Until then I wait, in tension, throttle forward, and waiting for the word from the Air Boss. Have A Bandit Day.

Bandit Launch - Bandit 112 from VFC-111 leads the way for Ambush 15 and 45 as they head out to @naskeywest runway 08 for the mass launch of an SFARP event in June of 2019. Mass exercises like SFARP do their best to prepare Blue Forces by overwhelming them with Red Force threats. Blasting into the weekend - Joker 403 from VFA-34 Blue Blasters heads out the Jax Op Area in support of the Ike Strike Group and CVW-3. The Blasters, assigned to CVW-8 joined elements from Tactical Support Wing as Adversaries for this CompTuEx. Fleet squadrons often join the Red Team for larger exercises, bringing more advanced sensors and capabilities to bear against the Blue Team. Have A Bandit Day.
