This is another shot from the Dorset trip last week. Durdle Door is a natural limestone arch on the Jurassic Coast near Lulworth. We spent a few evenings down here last week, so unless it gets too boring, I'll probably be posting more from here.

I shot this little sequence of a red squirrel last week on Brownsea Island. I managed a couple of close up shots too, but I thought this was quite fun.

We spent the day on Brownsea Island, mostly to look for its wildlife. This shot was taken with the IR converted 450D, handheld. The built in IR filter is stronger than the R72, so it captures much less colour. Apart from a straight desaturation, this is straight out of camera. That said, there really wasn't very much colour to be desaturated.

Pondfield Cove is a small, secluded, south-facing cove on the south coast of the Isle of Purbeck, in Dorset, England. All along the Jurassic Coast, you can see the impact on the landscape that was caused by the tectonic pressures as the African and European continents collided.
