La playaTambor se ubica en el valle de una gran ensenada de medialuna: la Bahía Ballena (Costa Rica). Durante la época seca, estos gigantes mamíferos marítimas solían visitar la bahía. Hoy en día, con la actividad aumentada en la costa, las ballenas ya no vienen a la bahía de Tambor.
Las aguas poco profundas son muy tranquilas habitualmente, lo que permite la natación, y la convierte en un lugar ideal para el baño. El día de esta fotografía precisamente, no se daba esta circunstancia. A la playa de Tambor se accede fácilmente en coche y hay sombra de almendros y cocoteros. La arena de color gris se inclina suavemente hacia la bahía y la marea baja produce una larga franja de playa donde se puede jugar voleibol o fútbol

The shallow waters are usually very calm, which allows swimming, and makes it an ideal place for bathing. The day of this photograph precisely, this circumstance did not occur. Tambor beach is easily accessible by car and there are shades of almond and coconut trees. The gray sand leans gently towards the bay and the low tide produces a long stretch of beach where you can play volleyball or soccer

Volcán Poás es uno de los volcanes más populares en Costa Rica. Principalmente debido a la proximidad a San José (aproximadamente una hora y media). Además, el parque forestal, increíblemente denso que rodea a los dos cráteres por lo que es un oasis cerca de la ciudad! Poás es uno de los mas activos y más grandes en el mundo. Mide más de una milla de ancho y más de 900 pies de profundidad. Hay dos lagos cerca de la cumbre del Poás.

El Parque Nacional se compone de cerca de 15.000 acres que abarcan al menos cuatro hábitats diferentes. Esta es otra prueba de la increíble biodiversidad de Costa Rica. Una de las atracciones más emocionantes de Costa Rica, Volcán Poás de Costa Rica deslumbra con su laguna del cráter burbujeante. La laguna varía de color aguamarina a verde. Situado a menos de dos horas de San José, el volcán activo es una de las más populares excursiones de un día en el valle central de Costa Rica. Cuenta con rutas de fácil acceso, miradores impresionantes y un museo interactivo que detalla la historia del Parque Nacional Volcán Poás.

Poás Volcano is one of the most popular volcanoes in Costa Rica. Mainly due to the proximity to San José (approximately one hour and a half).
