Eastman, Dodge County GA. Albert G. Williamson, a Dodge County businessman, donated land for the Orphans Cemetery after the death of a neighbor's infant in 1887. The community surrounding the cemetery, now in the city limits of Eastman, was originally known as Orphans, after Mr. Williamson and his five orphaned brothers, who moved to Dodge County from North Carolina in 1873 or 1874. The mausoleum, erected in 1912 and accomplished by master marble craftsmen in Italy, is on the National Register of Historic Places, and depicts Mr. Williamson, his wife Martha, and their nephew, Jay Gould Williamson.

Dodge County GA. I'm completely fascinated by tintypes, and am so lucky to have this one of my maternal great-great grandfather. It must have been a good year in the fields, as he was able to afford to sit for this photograph, and have spiffy clothes to boot! He looks to be about 25 here, so that would date the image to circa 1890.
