Signal Rock
A petroglyph near Tucson, AZ serves as the focal point as an unexpected painted desert sky showed up just in time for sunset.
I scouted this place out the day before in harsh mid day light without a cloud to be seen. Persistence paid off. It was off to a local dive for street tacos and margaritas when the light faded.
Tech talk: Canon 5DIII, Canon EF 24-70 f2/8 L lens, ISO 100, two shot exposure blend (fg and down 1-2 stops for sky). E.
