El Nido is an archipelago of more than 40 islands
and islets. It is located in the northern part of Palawan, southwest of Manila. It is a popular tourist destination among foreign nationals and locals as well. Travelling to this place by land takes approximately 5 hours from Puerto Princesa, the capital city of Palawan. Almost every islands and islets comprising the town is a popular island hopping destination. Bangkas are normally used to transport tourist from the mainland to the destination islands.
