Headed down this morning to Mrs Macquaries Chair to shoot this scene.

This tree is right on the foreshore, and people walk and jog under it daily whilst out exercising. Quite a few passed me this morning as I was taking this shot, nearly everyone saying hello which was nice.

The reason I titled this image with a Crowded House song, is simply because I was at the "Farewell To The World” gig, way back in 1996, on the forecourt steps. I was very close to the front of the stage, and I'll never forget it.

On the way back from Mrs macs yesterday, we decided to drop by St Peters to shoot this colourful scene.

A little birdy perched itself on top of the building for us just as we were shooting the scene.

Are Friends Electric

And the paint's peeling off of my walls

It's the 'friend' that I'd left in the hallway

Only mine's broke down

Shot this with my 70-200 Lens, then cropped in to get the final image.

There was a beautiful soft pink hue in the sky after the stunning burner of a sunrise earlier, and these two looked at their best in this light.

Vivid Sydney is coming up soon, so I decided to call the image after what these two icons will become during that period...Electric!!
